Summary:
Vet and breeder (= food supplier) agree: IT IS NOT AN ALLERGY. (I wouldn't be so sure without a test...)
Laboratory: complete blood count incl. allergy test, coat analysis, fecal sample
Duration of therapy: 4 weeks, 2 appointments
Timmy showed me directly where he was itching. He rubbed his snout on my pants, sofa, carpet - just about everything...
Timmy was also very warm all over and his mucous membranes were fiery red.
Therefore first stop itching with pansy tea and perilla oil. (THIS IS NOT A THERAPY!)
Second appointment for the blood sample (Timmy must be sober).
The results were clear - Timmy reacts to food mites AND house dust mites - even freezing doesn't help - the mites die (maybe), but the triggering allergen - the chitinous shell - is still in the food. This is why there are always problems all year round without any recognizable pattern.
I advised switching from dry food to canned food. Away from corn, potatoes (dry food...) and cow's milk.
In addition, the immune system was supported with vital mushrooms and trace elements (according to coat screening) were fed.
Timmy has been much more relaxed and playful since then. He no longer "glows". And his mucous membranes are pale pink and shiny.
He now digs his snout into mouse holes instead of trouser legs or asphalt.
Ann-Kathrin is over the moon.
Does your dog also suffer from recurring itching?

WHY ARE THERE ALWAYS GOOD TIMES WITH ALLERGIES, EVEN BEFORE THERAPY?
Because the immune system - which triggers the problems in the first place through its excessive reaction - sometimes simply runs out of breath.
Then symptoms get better.
As soon as enough antibodies have been produced, the immune system kicks in again and everything starts all over again.
